Nature Meditations

Research shows that spending time in nature can have powerful benefits to our emotional wellbeing by lowering stress levels and increasing feelings of wellbeing. I have gathered these videos to give you a chance to switch off, calm down and regather yourself. Read the instructions below and enjoy your little moment of calm wherever you are, in the office, at home or on your commute.


Pick a video that you feel drawn to. If you have headphones, they will enhance your experience. 


1. Take a few deep breaths. Relax your shoulders and your jaw. Make sure you’re sitting comfortably, close enough to the screen to take in the detail. 

2. Notice how you feel - are you stressed, tense, holding something back? Or maybe content, relaxed and playful?


3. Each video lasts only a few minutes. Nothing much happens, so if you get bored or distracted, acknowledge that and take another deep breath. Then return back to the video.


4. When you are ready, put on your headphones. Maximise the video to full screen. Let yourself get immersed in the view and the soundscape. Enjoy.
